Contact us
Email support@dinra.app. We reply within 2 business days.
Please tell us:
- what happened, and what you expected;
- the store and city or area you picked, if it's about prices;
- a screenshot, if it helps.
If you write from Me › Help & Privacy › Contact Us, the email already includes your Support ID, app version, iOS version, iPhone model and App Store country. Your Support ID is a random code. It helps us find your subscription and notification records without an account. The email never includes your meal plan, postal code, allergies or prices. If no mail app is set up on your iPhone, the app shows our address with a Copy Address button instead.
Frequently asked questions
How are prices estimated?
Dinra starts from official average grocery prices (such as Statistics Canada, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and Stats NZ). It then adjusts them for typical differences between stores, the pack sizes stores sell, and price corrections from users. We price full packs — what you actually pay at checkout — not just the spoonful a recipe needs. Salt, oil and spices you already have aren't counted. That's why prices show “≈”. On the Week screen, tap Estimated · How we price next to your store for the details.
Why is my receipt different?
It's a close estimate, not your exact receipt. Sales and loyalty prices aren't included. Shelf prices, pack sizes and taxes also change by store, date and location. If a price on the shelf is different, go to the List, swipe the item and tap Update Price. Dinra remembers your price for that store and your totals use it. To forget all your own prices, tap Me › Help & Privacy › Reset My Prices.
How do I change my store or postal code?
Tap Me › Your Kitchen › Store. There you can enter a new postal code or ZIP code and pick another store. Your household, budget, allergies and diet are in the same Your Kitchen section.
Can I trust the allergy filter?
Set allergies, diets and foods you don't eat in Me › Your Kitchen › Allergies & Diet. Dinra then leaves out recipes that contain them, based on our recipe data. But products change and can contain hidden allergens or traces. Always read the label of every product you buy. The filter isn't medical advice. See Allergies and diets in our Terms.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions › Dinra › Cancel Subscription. In the app, Me › Your Plan › Manage or Cancel opens the same screen. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or current period ends to avoid the next charge. Deleting the app doesn't cancel. More in Subscription terms.
How do I get a refund?
Apple handles all payments and refunds. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong in the app, write to us too — we'll help where we can.
I paid, but Dinra Plus isn't unlocked. How do I restore it?
Make sure you're signed in with the Apple Account you used to subscribe. Then tap Me › Your Plan › Restore Purchases. If you're part of a Family Sharing group, yearly plans shared by the family organizer also unlock Dinra Plus. Still stuck? Email us from Contact Us so we get your Support ID.
How do I delete my data?
Tap Me › Help & Privacy › Delete All Data. It erases Dinra's data on your iPhone and starts fresh. It doesn't cancel your subscription. To also ask our service providers to erase their records, see Delete your data.
How does Shop Together work?
In the List, tap Shop Together and invite someone with Apple's sharing sheet. You both see the same list and checkmarks, synced through iCloud. Both people need to be signed in to iCloud. Dinra never sees the shared list. To stop, tap Shared at the top of the List, then Stop Sharing. Someone you invited can tap Leave This List. Details in our Privacy Policy.
How do I change notifications or timer alerts?
Choose which reminders you get in Me › Notifications, or turn them all off in Settings › Dinra › Notifications. Cook-mode timers alert you with a notification when time is up, so keep notifications (and sound) allowed for Dinra if you rely on them. Timers are an aid only — always check that food is cooked through.
Which countries does Dinra support?
Dinra launches in Canada and the United States, with store prices in local currency. More countries are planned. Prices and stores are only available where Dinra has price data for your area.
What data does Dinra collect?
Very little, and there's no account. Your plan, postal code, allergies and diet stay on your iPhone. Read the full Privacy Policy.
